A few years ago, I have a small design company in a rural area of California. Ordinary market conditions could not be better, my strength was above average, and I had a great pool aquaintences which I could market.
Within 12 months, I’m broke.
My business is not because I have some fundamental errors, and consistent manner.
I now work in the web hosting industry. I had the opportunity to interact with a large number of independent web designers and we found that the mistakes I made are very common, and usually death.
If you expect a round of your business over a longer period, you may notice my top 5 mistakes, and avoid like the plague.
