Create Your Mailing List With Downloads

A mailing list is the lifeblood of your online activity. The old adage “Money is in the list” may not – if you have a list of targeted leads every time a new product had been in contact, you must be able to save a lot of marketing effort to the existing list of targeted prospects.
You can actually build a targeted list of prospects who are interested in your products by offering a relevant download on your site. For example, we take a look at a very good example – apple.com. If you use iTunes and Quicktime software for free download from their site, you will be asked to complete an optional name and email form so that it offers songs that you can purchase via – guess is, if – iTunes!
Do in reality, you do not need such an offer a “heavyweight” as a software download full-feature like iTunes. You can attract prospects equally well with some quality freebies such as a simple report, a free wallpaper, and so on. It is important that your download offers enough value to the prospect of being willing to betray his own e-mail to get it.
However, and slap a simple download and putting a link on your website is not enough to attract qualified buyers. You have homework to do cause your working mechanism to produce well for you.
First, you must place your download form prominently on your website. Preferably, dedicate a page for her and a link to this page every other page of your site. In this way, there is no way your visitors can not find the download page, and if so, you will receive some of them converted into your prospects!
You can also put some effort into promoting the download. Explain to download and closer to the values of the download, and your visitors why they should. You may think, why should we pass a freebie, but most of your visitors would be too lazy to take the effort to load, because most of their downloads just sit on your hard drive collecting dust virtual. It is therefore important that you show your visitors why they should download your freebie.
